Valentines Day Baby

If you know me, I am a HUGE fan of  valentines day, I mean, what is not to love, its the day to celebrate all the people that you love in your life! I have always loved valentintes day, and I am so excited that this little baby girl will be born around the happy holiday. First of all, I just love that the house will all ready be decorated in pink and purple hearts, and second of all, I think it is fitting to have such a bright little spirit come to our home right when spring is beginning.

So now we need to make some decisions. What color to paint the nursery? What to name the child? Well, if you know Bryan & I, you know that we are equally stubborn. Meaning, once we have made up our mind about things, we rarely budge. So, here is the great name debate. These are the names that Bryan likes:

Maggie Fiona

Maggie Lou

Thats it.

Anelisa Paige

Sadie Jane

Eliza Jane

I am big enough to admit, i've had BAD feelings towards my husband about his choice in this name. I mean REALLY BAD FEELINGS, OKAY. First off, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO NAME THE BABY. WHY? Because I am the mother and I may never get to name another girl, or even have any more girly babies. Not to mention that I am carrying the child for 9 months and have thus far been.... pathetic. Its sad, really.

His argument, "Well technically, I will be the one supporting this little girl, through dance, soccer, school functions, young womens, and eventually her car, a wedding, and CLOTHES, you know girls and their clothes."  " I have 5 sisters I know all about school clothes shopping trips."

Word for word. Not kidding.

Yes, this IS a very valid argument. He IS technically right, and HE IS HER FATHER and MAGGIE is "kinda cute." I just don't know if I can go through with it.  But on the other hand... I WANT TO GIVE IN BECAUSE I WANT HIM TO BE HAPPY. Really, I do. I know, people do weird things when bewitched by love. But I do, love him so the name is sadly.... growing on me.

The Nursery is going to be Lavender. We all ready have the white crib, changing table, and side chair, so we are almost prepared around here. Now who is exactly going to paint this nursery. Bryan is. That is who, and he is being very nice about it, what can I say, i'm one lucky gal.
