Easter Weekend

This Easter weekend we spent time together as a family, playing outside, and reading a few new books that we got. We went on a family date to the mall to play at the Lego store & Apple. The kids loved checking out the new apps. We also played outside along the rocks and fountains and read books at Barnes & Noble together.

On Saturday, we spent the day at Harrell Farm with the cute Robinson family. The kids loved swinging on the tire swing, paddling around the lake, picnicking, going on a hay ride, and of course the GIANT EASTER EGG HUNT. It was super fun! It was a beautiful day!

Sunday church was wonderful too, Sadie slept through sacrament meeting and young men's with Bryan. Everyone said how beautiful she is. Primary was especially neat because the Avery & Ben Piper sang a really nice Easter song about Gethsemane, that I had never heard before and it was amazing. The boys passed off the 11th article of faith- and Luke even said it near perfect!

"We claim the privilege of worshiping all mighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience. We also allow all men the same privilege. Let them worship how, where or what they may."

I am grateful this Easter for the sacred atonement of Jesus Christ who made it possible for us to be forgiven of our sins and for his life and example. I love this gospel- and every bit of it is true. I hope to instill in my children a love for their Savior- and my greatest hope is that their faith may be strong to guide them through the challenges they will face. There is nothing more important than a strong testimony of the Savior Jesus Christ. I hope they are always true to the covenants and promises they make. That would be Bryan & I's greatest legacy.

Here are a few pictures of our weekend together.
