{Penn}

Pennifasio
Penntacular

He loves to hang out in his big hut and play games and snuggle
with his blankies and pillows.
Christmas Morning, he gave himself
a little hair cut.

Penn has really matured into a smart, thoughtful, and good boy- I just love that boy to pieces! He is very good natured and loves to run and jump on everything in the house. When we go to the grocery store he has to get his own mini cart and help me shop. He is an outside boy and plays outside most of the day! What does he do out there? Well, he loves to dig holes in our sand pit, jump off the tree house onto the trampoline, and swing really high! He and Luke play really well together and rarely get into fights. It is pretty awesome  how well they get a long. I attribute that to both of them- because Penn has turned into a sweetheart over the last few months. If Luke gets hurt, he will give him a hug and say, its okay, and stay with him until he gets feeling better. It is very sweet.

Last night he said to me- "Mom, do you know what I like about you? You have awesome kids!" Yup- he is right for sure!!!

He loves to mop the floor and take out the trash- and loves to help with the little red vacuum and steam mop. He is a hard worker and sticks with the task- as long as it is not cleaning up his toys- because "Luke makes those messes, anyways." He enjoys listening to scripture scouts and dads metal music. When he doesn't like the song we are listening to- he sings loudly in Spanish to irritate you to the point that you eventually turn it off.

At night he announces "Its time to go to bed guys!" goes to bed promptly at 7:30 .

He loves to eat sweets- so we just can't have too many in the house- or else he will eat them all up! He loves a good beef fajita, green beans, Graham crackers and milk, lucky charms, bananas, Macintosh apples, and juicing homemade orange juice. He loves to make homemade bread sticks and dip them in marinara sauce. He loves to help with all the cooking- and even started a small fire last week, trying to "cook some marshmallows." Good thing we have a 1 story house- I need to keep my eye on that boy for sure!!

Some of my favorite Penn quotes are:

"I love Jesus, but I hate church."

"when I grow up i'm going to start liking church, but not right now." {which is suspect, because he is so great at church and is totally into it.}

"I can't stop sucking my thumb because its kind of made out of candy."

"When our new baby gets here- i'm not going to let anyone touch her without permission. I need a good quality fly swatter."

"I think that I shouldn't have to clean my room, we should just throw all of Luke's toys away- and see if he notices." {the 3 boys share the bunk house room}

"I'm sick of gymnastics, but I'm still going to go- cause I need to show my teacher all of my new tricks."

"did you know that my muscles are made out of well, stronger muscles than most animals?"

"Do you think dad has a sleeping bag at work that he puts under his desk to have a nap? I think he does."

"What? Did Isaac go to school again? When is he going to stay
home with us?"

Penn made these yummy breadsticks! He is a great little baker.

Penn loves playing with play dough.
