I HAVE READ THE BOOK OF MORMON

I will read the book of Mormon

I will read it everyday

for I know that there is wisdom

in the words the prophets say

Isaac completed reading the Book of Mormon about 3 weeks ago and we have just about completed the New Testament.. In the back of the scriptures it explains how we need to pray and ask Heavenly Father if it is true. 

After we completed reading it together I explained to him what a Testimony was and that to gain a testimony we need to pray to Heavenly Father to know for ourselves if the Book Of Mormon is true.

So we knelt down by the bed and he said this tender little prayer:

Heavenly Father

Is the book of Mormon true?

And then he paused and put his hand up to his ear like he was listening

and then he said 

" I couldn't hear anything, but I think... IT IS TRUE!" 

He was so excited.

The following Sunday was fast & testimony meeting

He shared this simple testimony:

My name is Isaac Smith and the testimony for today is..

Jesus lived on the earth he was very kind

but the people didn't like him

and so he was on the cross and the killed him

but then he came back alive again

and was resurrected

In the name of Jesus Christ Amen

It was very special- we are so grateful that Isaac is growing his sweet little testimony.
