Holiday in the Houston Heights

My sister in law Jackie went to this event last year and told us all about it. It is a home show sort of thing, but it is held in Houston Heights. The cutsie area of downtown. These homes were built in the early 1900's and are rebuilt, remodeled homes. We were able to walk through them. There was a fire across the street from one of the homes. There has been a string of arson attacks (more than 20) in the heights area. When we were in one of the homes touring it, across the street a home had been lit on fire. Because of that the bus system was delayed. So we walked(for quite a while) to the remaining homes. It was really cold outside, but it was so fun to see the homes decorated for Christmas and all lit up in twinkely lights. We loved touring the inside (even though pictures were not permitted.) The homes were amazing and I loved the beachy, bungalow feel. I loved the simple decoratioms, and especially the company:)
This home is called the pumpkin home since it looks kind of like a pumpkin. It was so fun to walk around downtown at night and tour all the beautiful homes. At a few of the homes they served hot chocolate. Thanks Jackie & Sharon for making this night so much fun!
