Finally they fell sound asleep on the top bunk.
Isaac has been begging me forever to let him have a sleep over. I thought it would be fun to have Maryan sleep over because he just loves her so much. Maryan is my brother Rick's cute little daughter. She is a darling little neice! Isaac & Maryan are 6 months apart and just really love playing together. At first they just played a lot, then had a warm bath. Next I made them warm pudding and grahm crackers. Maryan just ate the grahm crackers with milk. We put on our warm jammies and cozied up to the firplace.Next we opened up the beautiful Christmas box to put an ornament on the tree for day # 4.(thanks aunt Lisa!) Since it is Christmas time, we have been reading a series of Christmas stories (one each night until Christmas). We read that story- its theme was generosity. Then they got all tucked in bed. Of course they just giggled and talked until they got tired- then we found them both on the top bunk, fast asleep- just like little angels. Thanks Maryan for being such a sweet little girl. We love you very much.
We put up the Christmas tree and it was VERY EXCITING because this is the first year I have bought ornaments to put on the tree- they are blue, silver, & brown- and the star is a vintage brown copper star. It looks beautiful & makes me so happy just to look at my FIRST EVER DECORATED TREE! I LOVE IT!

I remember when you would come and sleep over you always wanted to make pudding on the stove. That's sweet you did that.
I love the picture of them looking at each other on the bunks. So cute!! p.s. you are the most festive mom ever. Christmastime sounds magical at your house!
