Happy 4th Of JULY! Remember that Freedom Isn't Free and there are still thousands of troops serving all over the world for us! I love this country and am Proud to be an AMERICAN. Going through these pictures brought back memories of that long year and a half deployment. NO FUN! But i'm grateful for all the men who are still serving and especially for the lessons that this deployment taught our family; That is to cherish each day you have together & be grateful that you have been given the gift of time with the ones you love. I think about the men who never came home to see their children grow up... and it is sad, but it is real to the families left behind! It is important to remember them this 4th of July- and Sergent Bryan H. SMITH, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

It is pretty awesome that Bryan was able to take runs along the Euphrates River while stationed there!

I couldn't agree more M.J. When I think about what you alone and your hubs sacrificed so that millions of unsuspecting Americans can have what they have I get a little emotional. Love ya sister
