Isaac has been peeing...on everything... and thinks it is so awesome how his ... well, you know... works.
He informed me that he is the one who has been peeing on the rug in the bathroom
He peed on his rug in his room yesterday.
He peed on his bed today.
We not only had a "chat" We had a red bottom- honestly, I rarely EVER spank, but sometimes, you have got to get the message across.
SOLUTION:
I am going to INSIST on a STICKER CHART which will go into EFFECT tomorrow. Complete with a treasure chest full of toys, stickers, treats, etc... kind of like the one at the dentist office. This is my home work for tomorrow. But, first I have a few questions...
Why is he doing this?
Is it normal for boys to just want to PEE on things?
This is insanely deviant behavior, from someone who is not normally deviant- any parenting advice?
Is this a phase? Or is he a complete weirdo?

kind of reminds me of Beauford, a cocker spaniel I had in highschool. he would get so excited that he would just pee everywhere. It was really funny when he would pee while running around, like a kid with a squirt gun making designs on the dry pavement...
Just last night, when we stripped Landon down for the bath, he walked into the bathroom, peed on the towel and started laughing hysterically.... and he's only 1. Good grief. Boys are such beasts!
One time I took my nephews to the park and all of the sudden I look over and my oldest nephew was peeing right off of the jungle gym like a mini waterfall. I yelled, "Hyrum, what the heck are you doing?!" His calm response was, "Going to the bathroom," like it was totally fine. Moral? I think it's total boy behavior that with chart in hand he'll grow out of. . . you've got to admit it's pretty funny though.
I totally feel your frustration. Nothing makes me more irked than intentionally misplaced bodily fluids in my domain. Matty was about Isaac's age when I figured out why our upstairs bathroom always had 'that smell' - Matty was having target practice outside of the toilet. ICK!! I was so mad I made him clean it up all by himself while I handed him paper towels. (Natural consequence, right?) It grossed him out so bad cleaning it up that he hasn't done it since. (That i know of... ew.)
my Dev LOVES to go in the backyard and pee....
boys.
At least it's just pee. My Lizzy has been taking off her diaper and pooping on the floor when she is supposed to be napping. She did it 3 times last week. We finally resorted to taping her diaper shut.
Hahaaa. Is this to come for my little guy? I know who to get advice from when Cameron gets to this stage.
Last week I heard the front door open. I ran out to find my son peeing in the front yard. Cars driving by, neighbors outside and all. Then he had the nerve to ask for a star on his potty chart for going peepee. You are not alone!
Oh my gosh, this story, and the comments left by others is the reason I cried my eyes out at the news I was having a boy. Good luck!!
Hee! Hee! Sometimes I check your blog because you're so funny and you live in a house full of boys like me! Now that he's mastered the fine art of standing while urinating, we're helping our 3 yr old know where he can and can't pee. In the garden- no! At the playground- no! Camping- yes! So confusing. And so gross. I swear I can not keep my bathroom clean. Good luck!!! - Jana's Sister, Jodi
