Bing bong... well hello there OFFICER HINCKLE

This afternoon, Isaac & Maryan & I were playing trains in his room- Penn was wandering the house, running from here to there, and obviously playing with his new lovie- our phone. A while later, I hear a knock at the door- I open it up and who is there?

OFFICER HINCKLE from the Spring Police Department. My first thought was- oh my gosh, is Bryan okay?

Then he says to me: Is everyone here okay? and i'm like yes, we are all fine, and then he asked me- who is here? Is anyone hurt? Are you married? Where is your husband? Where does he work? Where is his work located? How far along ar you? As I was answering these questions, my only thought was "it was PENN!"

Then he proceded to check every room in the house, just to make sure that there was no one hiding- or anything. It is a good idea I suppose, but a little nerveracking. However, I know for SURE it was PENN becuase I had been with Isaac & Maryan almost the whole time. Plus, Isaac or Maryan would most likely NEVER EVER do something like that! And, neither of them were playing with the phone!

Anyway, then I thanked him for checking on us and told him that I was sorry about the misunderstanding! Pretty funny!

I'm glad/surprised he was so thorough. When Ally called 911 (for the second time) a couple weeks ago the she-constable that came to our door just gave me a dirty look and walked away - might have been because Ally still had the phone in hand when I answered the door. ;) - "um, oops. Sorry ma'am!"

lol! That is so funny. I wonder if that happens all the time to the police.

That's so funny! Charity hit the call button in an elevator once and it called 911. I was mortified. Thankfully the dispatcher was super nice and understanding.
