Conversations with my 3 year old:

We went to my OBGYN appointment yesterday- and I took the kids with me. As soon as we walk into the clinic this is our conversation:

Isaac: mom, is this where Jesus lives?

Me: No, Jesus lives in heaven with our Heavenly Father, what made you think of that?

Isaac: Yes, it is. Jesus comes here with his sleigh and drops off all the babies!

Me: Oh, really? Where does he park the sleigh?

Isaac: I don't know? Um, are we going to pick up the baby brother?

Me: No, but we are going to check with the baby doctor to make sure his heart and body is working okay before we pick him up in a few months.

Isaac: So, does Jesus come down from heaven in his sleigh and come down the chimney at the hospital and bring your baby? But, I don't know where the chimney even is...

Me: Heavenly Father sends babies to families when they want to have children-and then we come to the hospital to pick them up when their bodies are big and strong- do you want to have a lot of children come to our family?

Isaac: I want 5 more brothers!

Me: How about when you get to be a dad- you can have 5 boys!

Isaac: Yeah that is what i'm gonna do- i'm going to be a big, strong dad and have lots of brothers!

So cute! I love to hear a 4-year-olds logic. Maybe he should be an author. And congrats on another boy!! It's because you do such a great job with little boys. :)

I never knew that was how it worked! He's quite the little problem solver.
