Just in case you've ever wondered who the cutest person in the whole wide world is.....

LUKE ELIJAH SMITH

This kid has it all; Brains, blonde hair, blue eyes, great personality, and a feisty little spirit. He always wants to be the best and strives for excellence. I've only known him for nearly 4 years, but from our interactions, I can gauge that he is going to be a total winner in life. In fact, he is going to give Dennis Waitley a run for his money. 

*He gets up, gets his own bath, dries off, wraps the towel around him while he brushes his teeth. Then he gets his clothes on- and comes into where ever I am and exclaims:

"WINNER, WINNER- CHICKEN DINNER."- meaning he has beat everyone at getting up and getting ready for the day. 

* He is a self starter

* He is always being productive- whether it is coloring, putting together puzzles, or playing with his stuffed animals. 

*He is a tidy little man, and makes his bed each day. In fact, he told Penn yesterday that - "I can't even feel the spirit in my room because you didn't make your bed or pick up your clothes- and I am sick of it."It was really funny. I just LOVE that kid.

*All the youth that have babysat for us always say-" I love that kid- Luke is hilarious."

*When we go new places- he introduces himself by saying "hey, did you know i'm SUPER STEVE? Because I really am." {thanks cousin Dallas}He has a big personality.

Luke- you are pretty great- and i'm so glad that you came to live with our family. You are pretty remarkable- even at just a wee 4 years. To steal a line from Dr. Seuss: "Oh the places you'll go...."
