Dear Isaac,
Today we got to spend the afternoon together, I took you to the dentist and you just looked so cute. All your teeth are different sizes, and your smile makes me happy. I love that you want to always do the exact right thing, like at night, you want to make sure you read for exactly 20 minutes, and that you always remember to read your scriptures. You make me proud to be your mom. Especially when I talk to your two teachers at school and they say what a "sweet" and "kind" boy you are to the other students. Mrs. Maxwell related that you are the kind of student that she wishes all of her students are; "Polite & happy, easy going, and a hard worker." You are a thinker, you always try to think about the outcome of your decisions, even at a young age. I love that you take such good care of Luke, you are a wonderful older brother and example. It doesn't quite seem like it has been a whole year since you turned 6, but it almost has been! You have grown the most this year, you are taller than ever, and are using such big vocabulary that I am not used to, words & phrases like " I am curious to know, what dad does all day" or "when can I start investing my money to have it grow?" or "Which part of Italy does our dog come from?" Is he an Island dog or from the pennisula dog?"
I just think you are an awesome kid, and when you grow up, I will worry because you will be off hanging out with your friends, and I won't have you as my little boy anymore who would rather "stay home" than do anything else.
I love you and am having the best time in my life spending each day with you, I feel like the luckiest mom in the world, I love your lanky hugs, and sweet kisses & someday real soon, you are going to be too cool for that, so for now, I am relishing the little moments I have with you.
I love you so much,
Mom
