That darling little Penn

Penn wears 5T clothes. He is a man mountain. I get disapproving looks from people in the store that think my 5 year old should behave better. Tis a cryin shame. He is so stubborn that when it is time to go to bed, and he doesn't want to ... he waits till I leave and then takes all the pillows, blankets, sheets etc... off of the bed and throws them in the hallway. He is not a fit thrower, he is a conspiring little thinker. He drinks a lot of chocolate protien shakes. He has has this deep belly laugh & when he doesn't get his way he usually always responds with:

"Mom, your totally breakin my heart."
Then he presses his thumb and his pointer fingers into his eyes
and cries great big crocodile tears.

Yesterday we were at toys r us, and Penn came across some fancy cups with names on them. He was looking at them trying to find his name. After a while, I said, "Penn your name is so special that they don't have a cup that has your name on it."  He picked up a cup and said "well, what does this one say?" I said "Trevor" He then asked, " Mom, can I change my name to Trevor & then we can get this cup?"

Penn really likes working out with Bryan, the other day he was working out with him, with his 7 pound kettle bell, and he was doing skin the cats, he is very agile, athletic, and is excellent at basketball. (the little tykes one of course.)
Some times, when he is hopping around on the furniture, I send him outside to "work out." He loves to climb the rope, swing on the rings, & swing around his little kettle bell. And of course, little brother has to tag along. I am impressed that he is so kind to Luke, always including him & sharing with him.

Penn knows all of his ABC's & can write his name.

He is a darling little 3 1/2 year old boy & we love him very very much!
