FATHERS DAY 2011
“… By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. …
Taken from L. Tom Perry Talk Fatherhood, and Eternal Calling
This Fathers Day, Bryan opened up a card from the kids, and they all agreed that
they wanted to buy him a ukelele. They all have been having a great time, taking turns
playing it. We had a yummy dinner and then I made him German chocolate cake (Bryans favorite).
Bryan is such a great dad to our children. He spends time with them, talks with them, listens to them, works out with them, builds legos and castles out of blocks with them. I am grateful to have such a great father in our home and am grateful too, that he is worthy of the preisthood power to bless out home and keep our family headed in the right direction.
