Today... pretty much every day, Penn (the middle child) does irrational- terrible things. Today he was painting with his poop on the wall and drew a smiley face with a few little dots of poop. He explained to me that ", yeah, I like it, it is for dad." Well I don't like it and I am pretty done with his shannanigans. 2ndly, he pinched out all the neosporin all over the chair, Third, he took off his clothes and peed in the living room, and 4th, he just laughs about it all. I have tried all the methods, spanking, time out, threats, taking away things. Nothing gets to him. He thinks he is just so cute, and he is, but i'm over it- enough allready!

One thing I REALLY CAN DO is put him in OVERALLS to prevent 50% of the problems that he is having. Today, I purchased 3 pairs of 3T overalls from Amazon.com. I can't wait until they get here.

The SECOND option is to keep his little hands busy. Today we did 2 science projects. One is we made sugar crystals, and two we watched as a itty bitty shark, grew and grew and grew in the water- third we layed down and read books for 30 minutes, 4th, we went outside and had a picnic. Thank Goodness the Sun is Shining- and we can get out of the house. Now, where is Luke during all this? He is quietly playing, looking through story books, or running around the house - being perfectly content to just be GOOD NATURED.

I distinctly remember when Penn was a little baby he would YELL if he was uncomefortable in any way. I remember wanting to give him a little spank when he was about 6 month old and then stopping myself when I realized that he was just a teeny baby. What is his deal?

Well, whatever it is, I still love him to peices and you can't change their little determined spirits, so I guess I'll live with it, write about it, and feel better.

He reminds me so much of Kyle when he was little. It does get better as they get older :o) Love your posts! Love to you and all your boys...Lisa Rarick

Sounds a whole lot like his namesake was as a young boy. Must be in the name!
