Catching up...
Since coming home from Utah, it seems like I just barely got caught up with putting Christmas away. I finally re-organized my pantry today. Hallelujah! It looks great. It was honestly- a mess, but with such a small space, things just needed to go! I got out bins and my label maker and the end result is wonderful. Anyway, last week Penn was being really naughty. He pooped on the carpet twice, and peed in his room several times. I almost lost it. So I did what any good mother would do: 1. Start potty training and 2. Get the carpets professionally cleaned, IMMEDIATLY. I am impressed, the carpet looks brand new! The guy who did them, did an excellent job, so good in fact, i've been thinking of calling his manager to tell him that he should give him a raise! After the carpets were steamed, sanitized, and dry, I felt great again. There is just a feeling about a clean & orderly home that no other feeling can replace. The truth is that if the house is a mess, i'm a mess too. I just can't live without order- and that is hard with my 3 Little Indians.
So here is my list for the next few weeks as far as spring cleaning goes:
Touch up paint that has been scuffed
Organize game closet
Paint Isaacs dresser red
Go through all paper work and throw away documents that are not needed
Windows
Lysol & santize all the trash cans
Steam mop the bathrooms
Garage
go through all old clothes and donate or throw away
Organize bathroom linen closet & get rid of old towels & cosmetics
I have allready done a lot, but there is more to do before the spring cleaning can be complete:)
Once Spring HITS, I am going to be wanting to be planting, gardening, and getting the yard fertilized & the flowerbeds brightened up with foilage:)
