3 weeks down...

Since school has started Isaac has shared a few funny experiences.

1. The second day of school, Isaac ran home, burst through the front door and exclaimed "mom, I got beat up on the bus today!" I said- what? By who? He said "James" I told him I was going to call the school to make sure that he didn't sit by James anymore and explained to him that if someone is bothering him- he needs to tell the bus driver. So as I am picking up the phone, he yells, "Ah, mom, I was just LYING, but  I really just don't want to sit by James!" (what a turkey)

2. At school Isaac has made a few friends, but there is one kid named Ky who is (according to Isaac) "little bit mean" Well I guess Ky told Isaac " I don't like you" so Isaac told Ky "well, I am a really smart, cool, strong kid- so if you want to be my friend you have to give me something very, verrry special."   That is when I discovered a new sparkley blue pencil in his backpack. When I asked him if Mrs. Strahl gave him this he related the story above.  (who's kid is this?) 

3. Isaac came home from school on Monday and exclaimed " I didn't see bushel britches on the bus" I said What? Then he said "mom, L wasn't on the bus she must have been running, and running to catch it, but just wasn't fast enough." (I guess bushel britches is Lauren) I told him that it wasn't nice to call people names like bushel britches. He just said "yes, ma'am." (Bryan calls L bushel britches) I guess our whole family needs to have a FHE on name calling:(
