Spelling "tricks"

To prepare Isaac for kindergarten I have been helping him with reading and spelling. Today we were  practicing our spelling lists- which is where I spell out words that ryme on a small peice of square paper.

and then he writes the letter to complete the word.

Today after he finished his homework he had written these lines on the bottom of the page

sat
cat
hat
DOMINOO

ball

BARB Q

Then he said- Mom, i'm playing spelling "TRICKS" on you! Then he just laughed and laughed!

such a cute boy!
