Over 3 years ago and STILL FUNNY
Do you ever think of funny things that have happened to you- or funny situations, or funny things people have said and every time you think about it- you just start laughing?
Here is a story that does just that:

When we lived in Vegas we lived in a shifty part of town (kind of) I mean to a certain degree all of Vegas is a little shifty. Anywho- one night I was at the grocery store and it was pretty late like 9:30 and I was checking out and there were two hispanic guys in wife beaters behind me in line, and they were just carrying on about how expensive kids were- so naturally being Val Robinsons daughter I asked them- how many kids you have etc... the one guy said- well I got a 3 year old daughter- thats why i'm here, all day she's been asking me for some hot cheetos (and of course he had 2 bags of hot cheetos) "They always want something or need somethin ya know"? Thats when his buddy said- "yeah last week my boy said, dad- my birthdays comin up- you know what I want"? Then the dad said "I told him I allready got you something"- then he explained how the boy got all starry eyed and asked what? He said- "see the lights- are they on?- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"we all just busted up laughing.

To this day- when Isaac leaves the lights on- I just think- "See those lights- happy FLIPPIN B- DAY buddy"

That IS funny. yes, Vegas is shifty for sure. We used to live there too, in the Northeast part, not far from the temple, but far enough to be out of the nice neighborhoods, and bordering the ghetto. my husband always carried a gun and taught me how to shoot one too! I don't miss that place! I don't know why I lost the link to your blog, but I have it now, linked onto my blog, so I won't miss out on your posts. Your blog is fun to read. YOU'RE AWESOME!
