Little Moments we will remember from this Christmas season:
Isaac climbing on the rope Eiffel Tower at Benders Landing Playground & Lake!
Penn Sitting in his new doll house!
Luke getting hugged by Grandma Robinson!
Penn & Maryan in his Igloo tent.
Little hands that re-arranged the Israel Nativity Set.
Isaac acting as the director of Christmas light placement! Bryan acting as the executor of "Smith family Christmas lights." And because i'm the only girl in the house, I got to put bright pink lights on our oak tree outfront.
Dancing to the Christmas light show on Lake Conroe. This guys house was amazing! It was called Dearing Dazzle light show. This man who is a mechanical engineer puts up lights which coordinate with Christmas music. It was AWESOME, if I must say so myself!
Going to the Live Nativity at Christs Lutheran Church. Penn kepts saying "Hosie" and he loved petting the camel and the little baby goat! Honestly, that was so cool!
Grandma & Grandpa R. flew in from Utah. We were so excited to see them & were grateful that they took the time to come and see all 5 of us. We love them very much.
One thing I MUST remember is that Isaac ran in to see the presents and said "SANTA DID COME TO MY HOUSE! Then, he said "I can't open up any presents until I have a shower and get ready for the day!" And he ran right in, drew a bath for himself, cleaned up, brushed his teeth, put on his "spiffy red jammies" and then when he was smelling like green Irish spring- he opened up his presents & ate his orange! Isaac, what a responsible boy you are! I was wondering whose boy he was.

And to be perfectly honest, I didn't take many pictures of Christmas morning because we video taped it and we were too busy having fun to have the camera out at the same time! But it sufficeth me to say that there was a lot of excitement, squealing & smiling. We put up Christmas lights on Isaacs playhouse outside and santa dropped off his excavator on the deck! Isaac was SO EXCITED about that digger and dug in his red christmas jammies & fireman boots almost all morning.
Quote of the week:
" Mom, maybe Jezebel & Raisabel celebrate Kwanza because Christmas was a few days ago. Everyone celebrates different you know!"
- Isaac 4 1/2
- Isaac 4 1/2
And finally the Christmas tree right before we put it away for another season. Notice how all the decor has been moved, touched, and misplaced after a month of being fiddled with? It still was beautiful to me! Goodbye 2009 and HELLO to an AWESOME 2010!
